Exploring micro-credentials and digital badges” is a programme of activity being taken forward as part of the new QAA Enhancement Theme ‘Resilient Learning Communities’.  This activity is a collaborative cluster which brings together groups of Scottish HEIs to work collaboratively to progress in areas that will have benefit for the whole sector.  This cluster is looking at the potential benefits, challenges and value of micro-credentials to higher education in Scotland. The approach is to collect data via a survey, followed by series of stakeholder events to discuss micro-credentials in more depth.

The first event is aimed at finding out what university staff perceptions of micro-credentials are. This will take place on Wednesday 3rd March, 10am-1pm. The group would love to hear from academics, professional services and senior management, with a range of experiences.
